What A Day!

I got up early but was still running wide open, Only to get to the clinic and they tell me "Flu shots are tomorrow." Got to Tony`s appointment and I spaced everyone out and read. Well, except all the people in wheelchairs or using walkers needing me to hold the door open, but I was glad to help. Next was drive an hour back and collect rent, she was waiting for me and I made it to the bank in time. But not all was good. First we were starving around noon and stopped at a KFC, we both have been on veggie diets for several days so why not? The lady took 2 orders and then took another order from some guy standing there with his food when it was my turn, I tolerated that, then she began to fix all the orders and us people still waiting to place orders, No she was not the only one working. The phone was ring non stop. She got all the orders before mine out and headed toward the cash register but instead of taking food orders headed to that damn phone. I said it loud enough so she could hear me " Oh HELL NO!" and I put my money in my purse and walked out. Tony followed me out the door telling me I am glad we left the tables are filthy like that have not been cleaned in days. We went to Bojangles, I had never ate there and it was pretty good, I had a breast and a small creamed potato with gravy, Tony ate my biscuit. Next Pain was ... As I was driving from my house to go collect the rent I made the huge mistake of going the back way and got stuck in school traffic, this one woman sat at a stop sign for 8 minutes, finally when I seen she could go I blew the horn, she still sat there, Next break I blew it again this time she went and I ran the stop sign and so did 2 school buses, we could see no break in traffic for a mile up that hill. But then as I walked I asked God to forgive my meanness and he has answered another prayer, but I cannot mention it just yet because I just got the call. I am giddy with happiness. How was your day?
