Everyone want to spend a special moment with their life partner. Don't we? I like to have a candle night dinner with my sweetheart. But no way. He is not interested. According to him as due to low light anything can get into the item. He likes to take the dinner with full light. What's your plan?

I am alone now but I have had nice candlelight dinners. They are always special too bad your partner does not enjoy them.

A candle light dinner is so romantic. We used to have it frequently during our early days of marriage. Now we have so many plans and engagements with children, we hardly go out for date dinner. It is always a family dinner now.

@debjani1 Yes things change with time and so do ideas of romance.

The fist dinner I cooked after we were married was meant to be romantic. I dimmed the chandelier, lit candles, and put on soft music. My husband, when called to dinner, turned up the light, blew out the candles, shut off the music, and turned on the TV.. He hasn’t changed much.

Yes, it would be nice. but to be honest I'm more of a burgers and fries kind of girl, instead of a fancy candlelit dinner haha

It's too romantic to have a candle light dinner. That's what I have known for I have never got one.
