How do I cure hair fall?

Recently, I noticed plenty of hair fall and my hair on top started thinning! I'm starting to get scared. Huhu. I have searched through the internet of some of the natural remedies for hair growth but all seemed to be difficult to prepare. I tried coconut milk but it gives an unpleasant smell that does not easily go away even after several washes.
Are there other ways to grow hair easily and effectively? There are hair growing products but they are expensive. Thanks for your help mylotters!

I also have the same problem but the doctor told me to change my shampoo to a lighter one

This sounds a little odd, but I am using a dog shampoo and conditioner to stop the hair fall. And it works wonders. I am using the Saint Roche Premium dog coat shampoo and conditioner. 
It has argan oil, collagen and keratin properties. For hair growth, I have heard Mane and Tail shampoo is good. Not sure though. Just read some reviews online.
