Do you read whole discussions before responding?

Sometimes I think that do we read whole discussions before responding or just read the main points of it..and respond..Sometimes I read whole discussions and sometimes part of discussions if discussions are lengthy..Or if I understand those discussions what the initiator of that discussion is trying to say..

@saumitra1 If the discussion is not too long and is easy-to-understand, I read it with interest and then decide how to respond to it.If it is too long,I either try to understand its main points and then think whether I should respond to it or avoid it and move ahead.

Yes i too read whole discussions before responding if that discussion is not too long..If discussion is long and I have time then I read that one also..

@saumitra1 That's good.But never respond to a post unless and until you have understood it completely.If you have any difficulty in understanding it,then read other responses.

I also read the whole discussion sometimes and sometimes only the main points before commenting.

I usually don’t read the whole discussion if it’s too long. I just try to get to the main point and give my response.
