Are you familiar with the Westin hotel brand? There's several in Japan and soon we will have a new one in the capital of the Philippines. The Residences at The Westin Manila Sonata Place is the only mixed-residential Westin property in Southeast Asia.
Here's a video I took of the scale model so you have an idea how it looks like.
Somehow a lot of Japanese seem to be interested in investing in it. I see several clients of other fellow real estate property agents. Last year I also had a previous Japanese client who seemed to like it when she heard the main property I handle is Westin.
This made me curious on why the Japanese like the Westin brand. Do you think it's because of the exclusive six pillars of wellness they offer? Or the Westin Heavenly Bed? Or I wonder what could be the reason.
Care to share what you think?

Not familiar with it at all.
However if they like what they see they will go there.

When the Japanese were here in Pamplona ages back now they were into very much into photos of all the places they could find and even right by where we lived.
I enjoyed seeing what they got up to with their Cameras.

I found out early this year why "they like it". Apparently my then manager for the developer has a Japanese referral partner who brings tourists to the Philippines and the guy includes a trip to the Westin Manila Residences show suite when it was around. This is why Japanese investors have bought several luxury units. (I'm not sure how many.)
The show suite has been destroyed late last year though to make room for a newer property.
