The old scientists established the bases of science from nothing but the modern inventions are definitely greater than the old ones. So, who are better? The old scientists worked in very hard conditions but the new scientists work in very comfortable laboratories. I think that the best way to understand the philosophy of science is to study any branch of science and its development step by step. We will find distinguished scientists regardless they are old or modern.
