What's keeping you to stay in your current job?

I worked in the call center for 5 years and eventhough its kinda stressful there, I really enjoyed staying. For one, they are good paying job in Philippine standard (they give incentives and bonuses). But what I really enjoyed was meeting a lot of friends. Usually after getting off we will eat out in a Korean restaurant and share stories with each other. I miss that bonding moment that I had with them. Unfortunately after 5 years I had to resign cause I want to practice my profession. I am a nurse by profession by the way Even though I wasn't there anymore I still keep my friends there. I still try to get in touch with them once in a while through social media. And I never regret that I had work as a call center agent. How about you guys, what are your experiences and what's keeping you to stay in your job?

Like you, when I did my profession of hairdressing, I had many friends and loved it. Now that I am retired I miss it.

Oh I see, I know it takes a talented and skillful person to be a hairdresser. Some people here do hairdressing job through a home service though. I understand where you are coming from, you will miss what you used to do when you stop doing that.. hahaha

@Courage7 Oh I see, I know that US is one the best place to live, everything is regulated just like what my boyfriend used to tell me that every simple business must have a permit or license to operate. Unlike here in the Phils, there's a lot or earning opportunity. You can even have you own store at your house and doesnt need a permit or license but the pay here and earning opportunities are not that great. thanks for saying that about my profession

@mayrah Yes here you always have to have a license and cannot practice hair in your home unless it is inspected by the state. Oh yes I miss it. A nurse is a blessing to all she helps.
