Hello everyone. I hope your day has been going well. It is 84 degrees F, cloudy, and humid here at the Jersey Shore. I am really looking forward to it cooling down a bit tomorrow if for no other reason than for the mugginess level to drop quite a lot. Work today was fine. When I got home I took a nice long nap. I cancelled my 5 pm gym session because I was pretty sore from last night plus I was so tired. I could have gone but I wouldn't have been anywhere near my best. I'll hit it hard on Saturday for Strongman. I'm about to feed the cats and the parrot and then start thinking about getting our dinner going. My husband will be home in an hour or a little over that. I haven't seen him since Tuesday morning so it will be good to see his face. What's everyone else up to tonight?

84? Sunday, it was below freezing and snowed hard all morning. Yesterday, however, it was in the 40's, and because there was no wind, I took advantage and wore shorts. I would love 84 right now!

Jay worked late tonight, so I had supper alone again. He will just warm it up, whenever he gets here. It's cold here, in the 40s, so this is great sleeping weather! I'm glad you took tonight off and got some rest. If you're sore, you need a little more time, before working out again. Saturday, you will be raring to go:)

12 sprints in a row was a lot for someone who isn't used to it. My legs got progressively more sore as the day went on. That's the one "bad" thing about my gym--we never do the same workout twice so your body never has time to get used to anything. You stay in a perpetual state of varying degrees of soreness.

@kobesbuddy That's why it is important to cross-train.

@NJChicaa Actually, that's good though. No one set of muscles are worked on, all the time. With biking, the leg muscles are nicely developed, while other muscles aren't worked at all.
