No I don`t. I have never but I used to keep them at the rentals till they stole them all.
I use flour, if but its never happened, just toss flour on the fire and it`ll go out. I learned this from running a roofing company, for industrial roofing, at times the tar would catch on fire when it got to hot, while in the hot tar kettle.

I was always told flour could explode. I use baking soda, or salt. Prefer baking soda.

No. But we have one of those sink nozzles that pulls out. At least it can reach the oven when mom decides to "broil" something. ps went to look for the fire extinguisher after reading this. Kinda scary not to know where it is. Will definitely ask my dad about it when he gets home

We have a small fire extinguisher like the size that we put on cars so anybody would be capable of operating it even if I'm not around, actually its not in the kitchen but very very near it my logic is it's hard to get it if there is already smoke and fire where it is at., I think position should depend and suit one's own kitchen setup.

I do, not sure I could use it though. I had a small one in the kitchen that I did use once..when grease caught fire in the barbecue grill.

I think that I have lived in two places that had a fire extinguisher in the kitchen. Need to rectify that and make sure to get one.
