This Time, I Like It!

Today, Sunday, I am again the Officer on Duty of the mall after more than two months.
Normally, I don't like it, because the centralized air-conditioner is switched off, so it's a bit hot inside my cubicle in the office. I am only using my small table electric fan.
But at lunch, when I went to eat at the just recently restaurant and told the chef I want to try their Uragon burger, he readily said yes and that as a compliment he will give it to me for 50% of the price only.
Oh, it was really delicious.
As you can see in the picture the bun is made from the famous dish of the Bicolanos , the pinangat.
Pinangat is made from taro leaves with small Thai chili, shrimp paste and some meat cooked in coconut milk.
Then, I had the chance to just be by the side of the office , that is the site of the soon to be opened Cafe AlFresco, because the utility girl has to vacuum my cubicle. It is so refreshing there since it was drizzling.
I love that nook, specially at lunch break.
Now, this time, I like being the Duty Officer on a Sunday.
How's your Sunday everyone?

Yes, it's different because the bun itself has its own flavor that tastes what food it will taste as in the menu board.
Do you eat burger? It's made of beef.

Your pinangat is different from what we call our dish in Pangasinan or other part of Luzon.

@freelancermariagrace Oh, i thought you are.
That is nice that your late grandmother also makes the beat pinangat. Do you know that sometimes I make the pinangat as filling to bread during breakfast.

@SIMPLYD I am not. I just love to eat anything with coconut milk on it. Plus, my late grandmother makes the best pinangat/laing. She's from Lopez, Quezon, by the way.

Yes, because it's supposedly rest day and to be with the family.
It's tiring going around the mall but I enjoy it though. I did my rounds twice. One in the morning and one in the afternoon.

Yes, I enjoyed it this time because I was able to eat that so delicious burger for free. That costs $3.61 which is too expensive more than double of my favorite McDonald's cheese burger de luxe.

It was so delicious. I was able to eat it all after about 15 minutes.
Then, in the afternoon, my boss called for me to go down to the company's restaurant and get salad and buffalo chicken from the remainder of the foods we had prepared for the people who will welcome Bong Go.

Thank you.
It looks green because it is made from taro leaves cooked into my mentioned dish.
What do you do in a homestead?

So, it's already daytime yesterday, when you commented. We are indeed in the opposite time zone.

Here Sunday are holidays no official works and except in any urgent work. But during Sundays I usually get up late or go for my friends or relatives home and some of them come to our house. We do have marriages, other functions etc. Sunday is mostly busy with social activities...

Precisely, that's how Sundays are. So, that is why I don't like having a duty on a Sunday. But I have to, because I am one of the 10 officers alternating for that on Sundays. So, it comes only after 2 and a half months again.

Yes, it was a very productive day for me.So, you see I have to relax also, in my favorite nook for a while.
Aside from that great tatsing burger for lunch, the boss let me get buffalo chicken and salad from the remainder of what the company's restaurant cooked for the welcoming committee for the executive assistant of the president of the country, who came yesterday in our province.
