This year God gave me more than enough, so that I can share. I have elderly friends that love fresh fall greens but are unable to have a garden anymore so Angie to the rescue, or Tony.
Before I push mowed the back yard I picked me a sack packed full with a mix of the greens, cleaned them and put them in the pots for me to cook later.
I got finished with the mowing and then went for my hour long walk. While walking I began to think about the elderly that enjoys greens.
After my walk I came in and told Tony I wanted to pick for two of the ladies, both are married. So we picked two bags and I delivered one and he delivered one.
While I was washing my second sack full I told Tony I will cook greens for Mrs. Smith this week, she is in her 90`s and she will make her older sister clean and cook them, yes! the older one has to be around 95 years old.
I got mine pre cooked and ready to home can and guess what? I had a whole pot left, so I got my 7 pints canned and now I have this whole pot to take to Mrs. Smith and her sister.
God is good like this, I picked the usual amount but somehow there was more than enough, so I can send someone else food.
That is my do gooder stuff for today, how about you, Blessed anyone lately?

That's so nice of you to pick these for them. It looks like spinach in the Mason jars.

That was a lovely deed. I never know what and if I do anything to people. I am surprised most of the times that my friends and family are so nice to me.

They do, some insist that they can come pick them but its hard for me much less someone 30-40 years older.
