My husband and I differ on MANY topics and our political ideals are no different. I am NOT looking to get into or start any political debate with this post - I'm simply curious if we are among the many or the few.
Do you and your spouse or significant other agree or disagree on politics?
I ask because we live in Georgia and we have a very intense race for governor right now and, of course, we differ in our voting tendencies :)

Oh, yes - there are. I tend to fall more on the moderate/liberal side and he's more conservative. We've learned how to keep it interesting without "arguing" over it.

I have always been able to find a lot of common ground with liberal friends.. But over the last couple of decades, I no longer discuss politics, but I keep my mouth shut. Yes, I have been censored. I don't enjoy being labeled as a hater, racist and bigot if I less than fully agree with any liberal policy. Sad. Maybe I too have gotten radicalized. But I thing helter skelter is being encouraged. Every class, every ethnicity, and the genders all 'at war' with each other. What's helter skelter? The dream and what was the goal of Charles Manson
