I am exploring options

I am finding that this year at school is more than I can handle. I am not liking it as well, so I am exploring options.
I put in applications through Indeed from time to time. Usually I get no response or I get an automated response.
The one I put in yesterday morning garnered both a telephone call and an e mail. Unfortunately I was gone with Bob when the call came in. Their e mail asked for a response and was not an automated one. So I responded. Hopefully they will call me back after work on my cell.
Just thought I would let you guys know what is happening in my life.
Today is the coldest morning we have had all year. Brrrrrr.

As I put things in perspective, I may just have to wait for someone else to either not get renewed or to be let go. I can handle some of the stuff.

My real issue is with a co worker who is in the wrong job, and it makes me nuts. There is a kiddo that is problematical, but there is hope that eventually he will be easier to work with. The co worker will not.

@GardenGerty I hate when that happens. Invariably it is someone that you have to work closely with.

It was not a good fit from my point of view, but it answers some questions I had. I also was not impressed because this HR person was somewhere not in this state and could not answer the questions I had. I am good enough at what I do to be picky and choosy.

We just had strong rain here this afternoon, glad I brought my umbrella. Good luck with that. Have a nice day.

I am one of those strange people that would rather deal with being wet than try to use an umbrella.

As I ponder what is bugging me, I see that one thing is a coworker who is in the wrong position, and the other is a kid that will eventually grow out of his issues as we work with him. I do know that I will probably try to find year around work for my own peace of mind, though.

You are welcome. Sometimes my life is pretty boring and plain.

I learned a lot, but that company is "too corporate" for me. It does let me know what I will not be doing.

I will either need to find something more to my liking or learn to like what I have.

I at least need to explore my options so that I can have year round work. Summer gets kind of lean working for schools.

We connected a lot through e mail. This is a corporate recruiter and is no where near Kansas and could not answer some of my questions. My conclusion is that this particular company is too corporate for me.

It's not that cold here, but it's super foggy.

I got to correspond back and forth in e mail, and learned that this company would not be a good fit.
