YouTube was down today!

A few hours ago I realised that I couldn't access YouTube and kept getting an error. It looked like the whole site was down and apparently it was indeed down. This is the first time I've seen the site down. I wonder what happened. It seems back up now. Did you notice?

Check your network connection, I can still access YouTube.

As I mentioned it is back up again. It was definitely down for a while as other users from the world too reported it. First time I'm noticing!!

I have never seen YouTube is down too. I didn't notice it was down, perhaps I wasn't on YouTube at that time and they fixed it very soon.
