I do believe that teenagers forgot to read books. They spent all day on social media or playing video games. It is very hard to motivate them to start reading

You are right! While growing up, my friends and I would register in our local libraries and spend hours reading during holidays. These days things have changed. Most teenagers nowadays seem less interested in reading and as you rightly said, they prefer social media. Sometimes i wonder the effect this will have in the future.

I have to agree. They are so much absorbed in their social media accounts and profiles that they would ask me what a book is about. They are just reading books if they are directed or ordered too. Some of them find the book very boring and very hard to tolerate, especially ones with long texts. I did make an attempt to make them interested in an ebook on their phone but it has failed. I can't really blame them but they will have a rough start when they start college or university.
