Deadlines increase efficiency ?

I would personally think so ! Besides instilling discipline ,deadlines increase efficiency. It works in schools, private companies but for some reason never in our government offices and government schools . I wonder if that is the case all over the world or unique to India , thanks to our inefficient and corrupt leaders ..?

I think deadlines definitely help me. I tend to postpone tasks, but when the deadline comes near, I work like crazy to get there.

Whenever I have a task, the first question I always ask is 'When's the deadline?' hehe

I can understand that , but many are vary of it here and want to know if there is any way, they can put it off ..

When you have a deadline to respect you surely give your best, I agree that it increases efficiency.
