Last Sunday I was participating a program for women where ‘cyber security’ was one of the topics. There was an informative class on how to create safe and secure password for different sites, how to you whatsapp safe and secure etc.
They demonstrated how to use net banking in a safe way. Banking sites are providing ‘virtual keyboard’ on screen for typing password. If we use that keyboard for entering the password then it is not traceable by the hackers.
I was not aware the importance and I always used my computer keyboard to enter the keys for password. I felt the computer key board was easy for me to type it out. But learning the importance of ‘virtual keyboard’ on screen, I realized it is very important to protect our data from cyber criminals.
I have been busy with many offline stuffs and on learning this information, I came here to share the same with all mylotters.
Hope all of you are doing well.
Happy Dushera to all Indian friends.

The teachers asked how many of you use this virtual keyboard, I proudly replied, I never used it, thinking it is not safe. On listening how it help us, I felt bad on not using the same. The keys position is changing every time so it help us greatly.

@Sreekala I am online only but not mylot. I am hanging around with fiverr and my My blog. I am concentrating on my blog and planning to take it next level. Just watching movies and enjoying my life. Sometimes, I prefer to stay away from gadgets to feel the cool breeze on the terrace.
The truth: mylot is boring these days. I am missing few old members. I am only in contact with Happy Singh.
Kiarra, Happy singh, Nawsheen, Ofcourse you.

Hi Sreekala, how are you dear? I too use key pad at times but that can be dangerous. Thank you for the reminder.
Happy Diwali to you and your family too.

That is interesting - I don't think I come upon this yet. I tend to accept offers on websites - including that of my bank - to remember my password. However, they also use "memorable information" by asking for three specific characters from a second password, with the three changing every time I log on.

The importance of virtual keyboard, unlike the computer keyboard, it changes the key positions every time. So hackers can't trace out the characters of pass word.
It will be better of you opt out the option of remembering password in computer. Be safe always.
