This transgender thing is driving me nuts. I dont think men converting to women or vice versa should be allowed in female or unisex toilets. We are starting to see unisex toilets in the United Kingdom even though we have just 10,000 transgender people in the whole country . When I go in a unisex toilet and see women in there it makes me feel really uncomfortable on behalf of women and young girls. We only have unisex toilets in the fear councils will be sued for not providing transgender toilets.
Men should not invade their space. A women's toilet is for women and we should not have public unisex toilets.

Many places have unisex bathrooms. They have one door with one toilet ant one sink. A larger inisex bathroom with multiple stalls would make me feel a tad uncomfortable.

I agree, a unisex toilet should be one room, not for everyone at the same time.

I didn't realise this was such a big thing. Why do you feel uncomfortable? I don't actually know of any unisex toilets in my neck of the woods, and the only issue I would have is using the loo after a man, because we all know how rubbish they are at cleaning up for themselves. If people don't want to use unisex toilets then there are plenty of other options.
Biological males who identify and live as women should be made to feel comfortable using female toilets {no doubt they may prefer it because they may view it as a safer environment}. Likewise, why would biological females who identify and live as men not feel comfortable using the men's toilets? If we get rid of this stigma, we surely negate the need for unisex toilets.
And - of course - once a transgender has the painful operation to remove and/or add bits, the whole thing falls on its head anyway as they are now physically female or male.
Just curious, but what do you think of women who infringe on men's right to privacy by using male public loos? This happens; I have seen it and done it as sometimes the queue in the ladies loo is ridiculously long and slow-moving!

The ONLY reason we are seeing unisex toilets in puplic is to avoid law suits

most unisex toilet blocks have separate independent lockable-door cubicles for each user. The only real difference for male users is a lack of urinals. I don't mind unisex arrangements.

Because gender sensitivity program in my country I observed more and more government edifices and business establishing are puting up LGBT in here, which makes it three toilets in a builkding or office.

I tend to agree. It's awkward. It shouldn't make you as a man feel weird to use something as natural as a the restroom, because you have every right.

I agree with you. I would feel very uncomfortable in one. Not knowing who the others were all around.
