Where was your first date?

I was a late bloomer. I had my first boyfriend (now my husband) at the age of 33. And my first date was in the mall. I was kinda nervous then because all my life, i had gone out all alone, shopped alone, ate alone and so on. And all of a sudden, i would be strolling around the mall with someone.
What about you? Where was your first date?

I 'survived' my Traumatic Brain-Injury at age-14 (I was gonna say 'suffered,' because 'suffering' is "what happens to you when you are injured"; but I focus on the future! I'm a survivor ), so I never got to (and most-likely never will be able to) go through 'all the event-nervousness' that comes with "taking a lady out on a date."
The closest I ever got was taking a fellow musician out to lunch across the street from the school where we were rehearsing (a few months before the TBI).

@Janet357 I don't play it anymore, but I play-ed the violin.
And--while I might meet some old lady in a nursing-home in my hopefully-distant future--it is too late for me to 'be young-&-in-love and marry and have six kids and etc.' (you know, all that standard American family stuff).

@mythociate violin! Wow! No, we live in an old system where people grow old and die. In the new system-paradise, where people will live forever you still have the chance to meet your future wife.

Hi thanks for the wonderful question it brought smile to my face and also gave me a hard time (really) lol thinking about it. I remembered my first boyfriend lol but we never had a date because we were young then and were neighbors so it was a secret but when I was in college there was this guy who wants to have a blind date with me .

Oh you just made me feel to much better. I didn't have my first boyfriend and first real date till I was 24. Thought I was the only late bloomer. Our first date was a movie then dinner afterwards. The theater had a two for one deal going so we saw two movies that day. It was in the afternoon and there was time between the two films for us to go to a nearby park and get better acquainted.

@CarolynP777 that’s true. But at least you found your true love at last:) for how long have you been married. I have been married for 4 years. And being married is a challenge sometimes:)

@Janet357 Oh no! Unfortunately we didn't have much more than the physical. Can't base a lasting relationship on that. At least I can't.

Well, at the time when I dated my ex-husband was at the age of 33 too. He took me to a beautiful place called Ronda. It took about 2 hours drive to get there and I got a car sickness due to the roads were “round and round” up to the mountain...LOL He didn’t expect that but he was very patient to me and pulled over to let me rest then continued...we took photos all the way...enjoying the historical sites and magnificent buildings, had a traditional Spanish meal and went home. This daily trip he gave me an impression that he is a nice and kind guy, a person who likes visiting, sightseeing and having fun. Unfortunately after the marriage, things changed and he wasn’t that type of holiday maker...LOL He loves music more than everything, having affairs with singers or performers. :-((

What do you mean by first date? Do you mean to someone that we married or just a first date with anyone?

Inside a cheap motel? My first girlfriend is kind of a thot. I am so innocent and pure then but she corrupted me. I didnt made the first move because my first girlfriend is kind of predatory even though we are around the same age.
