Alone at Home Tonight

I am alone at home tonight. My sister went camping with her friend. She will be back in two days.
Actually, I'm afraid to stay alone at home at night. Especially after a thief took my sister's helmet yesterday. It might be that the thief is still targeting my house again, and he goes into my house to get valuables. But, hopefully not.
I have asked one of my young nieces to sleep with me tonight. He agreed. But, until now, he hasn't come to my house. His house is on the right side of my house. Outside, heavy rain.
Yes, it's okay, I'll be alone tonight.

Do you know about any other theft cases at your neighbourhood ?
Maybe you can talk with the neighbours to pay for security cameras, to catch thieves if they come again.
It is weird to steal a helmet, why would a thief steal a helmet ?
I think you better talk to your sister about it, your house is not too secure, and she better stay at home with you to protect you if you are unable to protect yourself.
