Back from a from a short walk with Luna.

We took Luna to a shorter walk as this was her first. I took with me some dog cookies, cut in half. And Leticia brought a big stick. just in case a giant dog did something to our Luna. In the whole block. all the dogs in different houses were dwarfs as compared to her. I was expecting some giant ones, but there aren´t any in the block. The nearest menace we found were the rottweilers (not pitbulls I discovered later on) that my closest neighbor has. He had to build a higher and thick wire fence so that the little angels ( a couple of months older than Luna) would not kill anyone. Luna behaved like a princess and so did we. Luna was happy to come home and we were happier. One step at a time.

She looks very striking. Our boy is a softie, but he is still a pup too, just over a year.

The picture is not an actual picture of Luna. I don´t know how to upload one. Your dog is beautiful. Luna is darker and smaller. She is just over 7 months old.

I fear the pitbull dogs, they can look sweet a moment and a minute after they kill you.

I think that dogs should be kept in their owner´s houses. Yesterday I was quite afraid by my neighbor´s dogs even though he had placed strong wire mesh. BTW, Leticia told me they were rottweilers which are meaner.

@marguicha Yes, pitbulls are more human friendly than rottweilers, but the two are mean.

That is so funny. Are they not neat dogs. So goofy and fun loving. The other day I took Kai and Brooklyn and not their first walk but we were walking by this house and they had a big dog. Next thing I know the dog pops gate open and it was a pit bull. Pretty one too, one of those blue ones. But he takes one look at Kai and never mind I will go lie down. These two little pip squeaks come running out and told my dogs to stay calm. They did but the little dogs owner did not. Oh my God dogs are out. I told him to calm down these lovely ladies got this. Relax all is good in the world.

@marguicha This one usually does, walked past there for 25 years and first time that happened. Pretty good record I would say.

Our problems on a walk are always other dogs, that aren't tied or inside a fenced in yard! Then, Kobe gets upset, because they won't leave us alone! Pitbulls are dangerous animals, in many cases:( I'm glad you had a nice walk, with Luna

Leticia said that those were not pitbulls but, worse still, rottweilers. He has 2 and he has had to add a high strong mesh to his fence. Those dogs are savages.

@marguicha I heard of a rottweiler tearing apart and killing a child! They shouldn't be kept as pets, ever:( What if they accidentally get out of that yard? They are a very dangerous breed of dog!

@kobesbuddy I wonder how they do when they go out. The fence is very high though.

Oh gosh ..it worries me the man with those pit bulls. I hope he does indeed have a big fence. Glad you had the nice walk with Luna.

I was afraid that she would either drag me along or decide not to move. She did neither.
