Ganesha plays the Uileann Pipes
This is a shot from a wonderful Indian sculpture park in the Wicklow Mountains, about an hour north of here. In this statue, Ganesha is playing a traditional Irish musical instrument, the uileann pipes. I try to get there every year, for a peaceful stroll between massive statues of Ganesh, Durga, Shiva, and other Hindu deities, all hand-carved in India and shipped to this magical location high in the hills. It is called Victor's Way and is situated near the town of Roundwood, reputedly the highest town in Ireland.
Do you have anywhere near you that you like to visit because it restores your mental balance?

Yes here I can go to Tabletop Mountain in Golden. When I can. I hope to go again maybe after we move if the weather permits. Not far for me to go.
I shot some aerial footage with my DJI PHANTOM 3 ADVANCED quadcopter at Table top Mountain outside of Denver. Golden is a beautiful little town right on the ...

@NormanDarlo It is great here I tell you Norman, never a dull moment. Thanks
Who would have thought Ganesha tho is sitting there in Wicklow? haha
I only saw the fairy land that is Wicklow once through the coach windows going down to a place I was looking to buy a holiday caravan many years ago now. I did get to walk Curracloe Beach all by my lonesome tho and that day was one I will never forget.

@Courage7 Curracloe is quite nice. In fact it's one of my nearest beaches, less than an hour from here. Did you get to buy that caravan in the end?

Yes, I like to go to the Scherrer Park in Morcote, on Lake Lugano. It is a subtropical garden where you find architectural and artistic works inspired by distant culture. There is a Siamese tea house, an Egyptian temple and Greek sculptures. A peaceful place where to spend a day. I add a photo of the path leading to the park, you can spot the lake below in the distance.

Yes, I was very surprised the first time I found this place - it was entirely by chance! Ganesh married a banana tree?!

No I don't Norman. I love this statue, a lot. Wow it is so cool.
We have a state park, where the injured animals are kept, the owls right now.
I love going here to visit. Dustin had a great love for animals as well.
I feel closer to him when i go.

@NormanDarlo I do the same, but mostly wear his shirts. He wore mostly tshirts and blue jeans. They make nightshirts for me.

That's nice, that it gives you that feeling when you visit. I wear Josh's socks. They're not worn out yet, but of course they won't last forever. The things we do
