No, I don't have a credit card. I wish I had. My mom is contemplating to own one but my brother will always tell her not to. He said it's just a headache and it's not free of course. You have to pay the interests and charges monthly of course. I think if I had the money. I'd rather put my money on debit cards. After all debit cards are like credit cards too. You can use it everywhere as well.

Last night after much thought and anxiety lol I handed over my credit card to my hubby and asked him to hide it! Hopefully down the track he will remember where he hid it, but it took great strength for me to hand it over! lol Yes for me they are a trap and I am the first to admit it, and as I am just going through this with my son and his, I am now thinking that he is no good with them either as we are helping to bail him out as well! Time for some serious work ahead in this household! lol

My wife & I have quite a few credit cards. There are 2 that we pay off the total balance every statement we get. Then we have a couple that get used way too much. These come in handy in times of emergencies. As an example we had car problems years ago while on vacation & were glad we had a card at that time. Anyhow my favorite card I have is a department store card. I shop there a lot on impulse when I go to window shop. Thanks for the topic again.
