There's a local shopping app in our country where chinese sellers from China are allowed to sell their products as well. I have this online shop with food-themed cute products and I thought of why not try dropshipping so I wont need to buy the products first-hand, I just need post the photos then order it from the supplier only when someone purchased it from my shop, sounds good because I still have unsold products stuck here at home.
So I started looking for cheap stationeries which suit the theme of my shop then posted it, now comes my 1st buyer and she ordered 2 items (a friction pen and a pencil case) so I checked my supplier, turns out it's from 2 different suppliers! LOL so I need to pay each with the shipping fee, that means I wont have any revenue from this transaction huhu
Anyway it still feels good, it's a learning stage and would still continue it, but this time I might stick to just 1 supplier haha!

I've heard of drop shipping but have not venture into it. Not very popular here in the Philippines but it seems that after several years of development, the infrastructure for this kind of business is now in place. Alibaba which is China based has now venture into the Philippine market.

Yes, it's getting common these days and seeing people who really gets successfully made me tried it. First I was thinking of AliExpress but most of the time, customs will hold it and buyer need to pick it up from their office which so much of a hassle :( Haven't tried Alibaba though, I should check and try purchasing to see how it goes. Thanks Josefina!
