Too much in your own head?

Do you ever find that you are too much in your own head? To the point that you might be sabotaging yourself?
Well today I need to be in my own head. I have some relaxing and thought provoking music playing. I have my laundry in the washer, and I'll put it in the dryer later. Once it's in the dryer I'll go into the shower and give it a good scrub down. Here lately I've been doing the bare minimum of cleaning the shower stall.
Meanwhile I am going to be thinking. I'll be typing here and thinking. I'll be doing other online tasks and thinking. I'll pretty much be thinking with everything I do, except for maybe reading.
Things are changing in my life. Scary things are happening for me. I need to think about it.

There's so much about life that requires thought. It's hard to shut off the brain for awhile.
Thank You. It's not exactly "sorting" that needs to be done, but sorting wouldn't hurt things either.

@ScribbledAdNauseum Take a step back. Take some deep breaths, then start again.

Scary can also be good.

I am hoping this scary will also be good but it's also the kind of scary where I can say it's been awhile.

@thislittlepennyearns Thank You. I am sure I will eventually write some sort of discussion about it here, but in the meantime only one of my friends know about it.

@ScribbledAdNauseum Well if you need to talk about it, you know how to get ahold of me.

It's not peace I need, but thank you all the same.
Eventually I'll be comfortable enough to explain myself further, but at the moment I'd rather not.

maybe you should also try to reassess yourself and what exactly you want to do and also maybe consider what tasks you think are worth it to finish and what tasks are not. So you'd be able to manage your time more efficiently. For me I believe less is more so try to do the important things only and lessen your tasks if you can

The things I need to think about aren't related to daily chores, but I do agree with you, it's easier to manager your time more wisely if you make a plan for how you are going to do things.

Well, thank you.
I assure you it's not as dramatic as I probably made it seem.

@ScribbledAdNauseum doesn't matter, in my opinion. As It's still something you're going through.

When I look at your profile it says blocked so I'm surprised I can still write something here. I'm guessing the red block is a glitch, although it did beep when it showed up.

If you don't know exactly what is changing, thinking about it won't do much good. It's much better to find something else to think about for otherwise you could have a lot of wasted effort thinking of possibilities that may never happen.
If necessary, you can consider the worst and best scenarios and then see yourself working through them. Don't spend a lot of time on it and put your thoughts on something else entirely like remembering good memories so you don't worry about whatever it is
