Fare has increased

Public vehicle fare in our place has increased one peso now. (0.02 USD) I was surprised it didn't come sooner, since the price of gasoline and food has been increasing these past 6 months. It may be small ,but for those who commute a whole lot, it is big. I hope the gasoline prices go down though

some of the tricycle drivers here argue about that though. But i won't give any unless they have the "taripa"

@lady1993 I understand where you are coming from. It all adds up in the end. I remember when I was going to high school, the bus fare was about 50 cents. Now it's $2. But that's only if you have a concession card. Without the card it's almost $5 depending where you are going.

when i traveled abroad, their fare was also quite expensive.. but it was a train so it is acceptable i guess

are you referring to the jeepney fare increase from 9 pesos to 10 pesos? i thought that will take effect in november?

our jeepneys here did not increase, only the tricycles
