Ever find it interesting that someone can be a murderer and still have standards/morals? How can someone be so ruthless and yet still care about people? I just don't understand how that works. I was reading about one serial killer who turned himself in because he didn't want them to go after his family. He would kill people who hurt women or children. He spoke of how he once killed a man who kept stealing his parking space but then saw how the man's mother was scared and looking for her son so he went out to where he hid the man's body and put it where they could find it to give her some peace of mind.
He then went on about how he accidentally shot and killed some innocent bystander when shooting at someone else and he simply said: "he shouldn't have been standing there." His line of thinking is so messed up and yet he actually cares about certain people. He has a soft spot for women and children. I just don't get it.
Then there are other serial killers I've read about who had connections with their families and would separate themselves from those people when they had the urge to kill. It's just weird to think they could even have any sort of conscience no matter how small. How is it a person can murder people and then walk home and have people they care about waiting for them? How are they able to really care for people doing the horrible things they do? I don't understand it.
I don't get how someone can be a serial killer with zero remorse and yet still have some weird set of morals. It's like in prison there are some of the worst thugs there and if there is a child murderer or molester in there they go after them for what they did. I mean how can you be a genuinely horrible person and still have some weird set of morals? I just don't fully understand how it's possible. I find it interesting how being that messed up and clearly mentally ill your brain can still separate things. I guess it's something I find intriguing.

I could never understand how a dictator who had have thousands of people killed could be a good family man.

@sissy15 Yes. And so many people with power have killed people, even if it is not with their own hands.
