Missing My Long Hair

The other day Facebook reminded me of how glamourous my hair was before I ruined it with chemical dyes and too much straightening.
I really am trying to grow my hair back back to its glorious days but I can’t seem to be able to. Everytime it starts to grow to a desirable length it starts to have split ends. I have been staying away from the ceramic iron for 5 months now. But I still haven’t seen real improvements.
Any mylotters can share hair tips?

@flapiz I,m not much of an expert on women's hair and some products can be damaging.

@1hopefulman This is why I’m scared to just believe labels which says “it will make your hair shiny”!

Do you have naturally wavy hair, like in the photo? I think it looks great! Another reminder of just how beautiful you are!

I will ask my mum to grate some coconut for me this weekend. I will put it on my hair.

I love your curls, Floraine. I am not an expert when it comes to hair care. I just use hair mask/hot oil every two weeks. I have heard Brazilian blowout is good. Your hair will be soft and friz-free for 8-12 weeks.

I have been doing hair spa at home but it’s quite pricey even for a DIY. I want to try hair mask. What brand do you recommend?
I did try Brazilian blowout in Australia but it didn’t work so welll. I intend to try it here in the Philippines cause Asian salons seem to do hair better.
