Good morning mylotters. I felt bad last night as my leather wrist watch fell while i was trying to remove it from my wrist and the glass got broken. Am not sure if the glass can be properly replaced. It's just so painful to me.
Have you ever mistakenly damaged your watch?

My watch is not an expensive one and it is all plastic and though it has fallen a few times, nothing broke yet.

@septabchips Plastic can take more bumps than glass. Is your watch very expensive?

Ouch, poor watch. I really do hope someone will be able to repair it.
I never got a watch damaged but I haven't worn a watch in maybe 20 years. It would annoy the hell out of me on my wrist and I just couldn't stand it...

It's annoying and to think that it's the only leather watch i have makes it eve. More annoying. Leather wrist watch is better for traditional outfits. Like you said, I hope someone will be able to repair it. Thanks.

@septabchips Yes, I can image that you need it to work and look good on you. It does give a better feeling than looking at your phone's clock all the time :-)
I really do wish you the best!

that can certainly be repaired, but the question is how much will they charge?

@septabchips if they won't give you an estimate then they'll overcharge you

Oh I am sorry that happened. What a shame.
Well, I have lost many items.
But I only have one watch and it is safe..it is not on my wrist.

Oh no, I am so sorry, but I believe if you can find someone who repairs watches, the glass can be replaced.

What a shame. It is so easy to do this. I have just bought a really nice new watch from Wish.com but it was very, very cheap.

@septabchips I'd be interested to know what you think of it as some things cost much less than the postage to get them to your letter-box.

Yes, I've broken a couple by bumping my wrist against the walls in my house. I buy inexpensive watches now

I also have a wristwatch that also fell and the glass got broken a bit. Sometimes, I still do use it, because one can still see the hands of the watch still.,

ouch. I have broken various watches, cameras and phones over the years. I hope repair is possible though it might be necessary to get a replacement if that is a cheaper option
