Gummy Drop is a highly addictive game for mobile devices (smartphones, tablets) and can also be played on your laptop/PC via Facebook's Gameroom. It is a classic "match 3" game with TONS of levels.
ARRGH, I have been playing this for a bit over one year now and it's still not getting boring. How can this be?

Oh yes, I do know Candy Crush. I had played it myself a few years back but somewhere above level 700 it got WAY too hard and I quit for good.

@stine1online I realized how much time I was wasting. I waste time playing computer games since the ancient times of the Apple II.

@LadyDuck Yeah, me too. Especially with World of Warcraft, I played that for a few years semi-addicted.

I'm only addicted to two games (both on Facebook) and one of them is the same kind of game as Gummy Drops and Candy Crush. It's called Bejewelled Blitz. I've been playing it for years and it should be mind-blowingly boring but it's just as addictive as it ever was. I think that it must have some kind of secret seratonin which lulls the mind into being pleased when you get a high score or a particularly effective special gem which blasts all the others off the screen!

@stine1online What I would like to know is how those game manufacturers make money (and they must do, otherwise they wouldn't be there). Yes, I know that one can buy all sorts of 'bonuses' for cash but do people ever do that?

Dear Owl, yes you are right. That is actually the secret behind those games.
Did you know that Blizzard hires psychologists to make World of Warcraft as addicting as possible?

Yes, it does. It is very similar but all matching games are.

When I've learned that we can earn something online I've started quitting my game activities. True some games are addicting.

Ah, interesting. To me, earning money online can also be addicting *lol* Like spending hours and hours on Mylot every day. I used to do that too a few years ago.
