Happy Halloween from my Cats

My two cats, Brendel and the Dude are my kids. But they do not like candy. Thank goodness. So I do not have to buy Halloween candy. All of the neighborhood kids seem to have parties of their own or they attend church or school parties. It is not like it used to be when the doorbell rang for hours. So the porch light does not stay on here for Halloween.
I do have good memories of taking Dustin trick or treating and he got lots of candy. Great memories to see him so happy.
This photo is mine and I used Photomania to make it festive for Halloween.

They are cute kids. You could dress them up and take them out to get you some candy.

We don't get too many kids here, but we are stocked with candy. I hid it all from my husband. Your cats are adorable. They both have the same gorgeous eyes as Doodles. Our son and his wife took off for Belize to dive, snorkel, and get some sun. They will be home for Halloween in their new house and are very excited about it.

@CarolDM Our neighborhood changed over the years, too. Most of our pets were rescued, too, except for one Persian cat, whose grandfather was cat of the year way back. Our two dogs had papers, and not the kind they wet on. . Thanks. The kids need to get back to being happy after the episode with Kuma.

That's an adorable collage of the cats with the Halloween background.
I have fond memories of taking our son trick or treating too.
And he was like a lot of the kids growing up today, he told us, when he was in grade 6, that he did not want to go out for Halloween, but asked if he could have a party at our home instead. We allowed him to have his first boy/girl party, and when I think back to that night, they seemed like such babies in a mixed crowd like that. Truly harmless-but supervised just the same.
