Reflections of Light and Shade

Today I decided to take advantage of the crisp, bright autumn weather and took a walk in nearby Altamont Gardens. The colours of the leaves, both on the trees and on the ground, were wonderful, and the quality of the light was exquisite. Beside the 18th century manmade lake I was struck by the light reflected from its surface and cast on the surrounding leaves. In the animated GIF linked below, you can see that rippling light cast on Gunnera and Japanese maple.

@CarolDM Okay, thanks, Carol. But it differs depending on whether it's in a post or in a comment, yeah?

Thank you! And thank you for turning that into a link. Any idea why it won't do that in my post?

Thank you, DW! I walked right past those leaves without noticing, but when I stopped for a moment, the movement caught my eye and i so wanted to share. Thanks for appreciating it
