Spent quite a penny to clean our garden

Thanks to falling of leaves and over growth due to incessant rain our garden had a cluttered look.
I could only attend to our garden after I got up from my bed rest. Had to engage outside labour and hire a tempo to clean the mess. It was a two day task.
There is more work such as cleaning the roof, the birdbath. the paths, the gate and even painting here and there.
It is worth all that effort as the garden gets a spruced up look and strolling becomes a joy.

This looks truly lovely. Sometimes it is good to pay and just get the work all done.

This year it was much too much that it could not be handled by us without engaging outside labour.

Falling leaves is also my problem especially from our bilimbi tree, the leaves are very small and hard to sweep, your garden is beautiful.

@louievill We have an incinerator where we burn leaves but with this non stop rain that was not possible.

@allknowing ours too, mango leaves are easier to sweep, another problem with leaves is they clog up the roof gutter so I need to go up and prune them, I can relate very much to what you are trying to do lol, fallen leaves and rain makes the garden really look cluttered, add the small dried twigs

@LadyDuck There are times our workers do not turn up and added to that I could not supervise because I was recommended bed rest. Now most is cleaned up.

Our garden is pretty huge with fruit trees that shed leaves on a daily basis and that clutters our garden.

@math21 We do that too. We have visitors and house guests too. I must say I am proud of our garden and yes it is no doubt hard work more getting the work done which again is not easy.

I have a lot of greenery. I also have a garden on the terrace but that does not help much in intense summer.

If it is not attended to on a day to day basis things get out of hand as it happened this time.
