I must say I dont find your post too funny.. I think there are so many very good posts here on mylot..Mylot is not being taken over. Mylot is striving to sift through rubbish posts.. Give credit to the majority of posters who come here to discuss some really good topics..Thanks for initiating a very good discussion!

I think though..people in general, the majority do want to post wholesome posts..It's usually the foolish ones that people pick up on..but they are not the majority.. I am sure of this.

okay, but if you say, 'are you alive', 'do you like tea', 'what's in your wallet', can you seriously tell me these are 'wonderful' discussions? at least with the deodrant one i was seeing if people were cautious about the fact that sprays contain chemicals that can give you cancer.. ok, it was NOT one of my better posts, i'l giv u dat! lol!

I wouldn't say taken over but I would say that it is being diminished in value and quality. I hope and pray that those offenders will start reading their responses, rate them and post best response and stop posting discussions that can be answered by a simple yes or now, pepsi or coke, colgate or pepsodent. etc. etc. etc.

I don't want a pat on the back but if you check my discussions and those who have responded with more than a few words you might consider putting them on your friends list. It will be easier to find discussions with some meat to them and not just jibber jabber.

This is very true but I mean seriously what did they expect, they allow a community of 50,000 people write about whatever they want to write about.
The worst part about it is that myLot has a horrible organization structure they always have, just wait and see if this community ever reach's 100,000 people then things are really going to start getting hecktic.

Last night I went to the 'discussions with no responses' option, to try to give some comments on the discussions that had none. I had to scroll thorugh 20 screens before I founda topic I wantd to comment on... there are so many posts that people are just throwing up (pun intended) to get points. Some people are posting entire newspaper articles or entries from encyclopedias.
My discussions are gathering dust, meanwhile. I even wrote a discussion about Bollywood and Indian movies and hardly anyone responded.
Maybe I'll just join the crowd and start a discussion about Coke vs. Pepsi...

o, i loved that 'throwing up' reference! lol!..and coke vs. pepsi, hmm that still requires thinking, how about....'i like breathing, and you?' LOL!
and i'd reply to your bollywood discussions but i haven't a clue on bollywood films....i could make stuff up but there are enough people making eejits out of themselves on here..;)

What exactly do you regard as a rubbish post ??? Is one that has about just six words and says nothing of importance and remains silly.
Do you think discussions here in MyLot should not contain any worthwhile topics that different members of MyLot can discuss and exchange viewpoints ???
