I Tried To Plant a Money Tree...

I tried to grow a money tree but it really didn't grow. I watered it everyday but it wouldn't cooperate. I though if I planted dollar bills it would start a tree but all I got from those bills was a bunch of weeds. Have you ever noticed just how much month is left at the end of the money? You pay your bills and poof, all the money is gone. You are sitting there with an empty piggy bank wondering where the money went. Oh well, tomorrow is another day as Scarlett O'Hara said so long ago in "Gone With The Wind". Tonight I think I will go for an easy dinner. Maybe tuna wraps. That sounds good. Meanwhile I guess I will be writing, reading, and thinking of a way to raise some money. I will really need to put on my thinking cap for the last activity. What happening with you today?

Since it's the end of the Month meaning bills are coming. I already arrange my expenses and yes, I'm broke again after paying all the bills.

I am in a depressive mood today, may be the weather, may be the empty piggy bank because it's end of the month.

Sure would love to grow a money tree myself. Not sure how to earn a little extra money...I worked part time off and on after I retired, mainly because I needed human contact. I've got all that out of my system now LOL, but it would be nice to be around people more and make a little extra spending money.

Darn, I hoped you found the solution for growing a money tree. Tuna wraps sound good. Today I will be working on NaNo and Thread of Evidence. I'm trying to stretch my brain as far as it will go.

lol My mother has a money tree, and it looks sick with holes in its' leaves. Today I finally got two receipts to work on a website for Arm and Hammer. I should be getting a cat charm bracelet soon from them. I'm going to order two calendars from Amazon. I hope to finish reading The Chalk Man by C. J. Tudor.

At the end of the day I am never truly broke. I always have money in the bank. But I play poor every single month. Probably a big part of the reason I am never truly broke. If you play poor you never spend even what you truly have.

We have learned how to conserve our money. Every now and then we get a little rambunctious about spending but what are you going to do?

@HazySue Well, as much as I believe very strongly in the need to save and the power of saving, investing, and compounding, I also believe we have to sometimes dip in to have a little bit of fun and life's guilty pleasures as well, otherwise what's the point to having it?

It's too bad you can't get hold of more money, then you could spend more.
