@ridingbet it I found this very interesting while walking along. The stucco house paint was peeling and left a good imagination there for me.

Favorite holiday food memory? I always enjoy the mashed potatoes! I more often remember spending time with my family though than the food we eat. Great question though

For me it was going to a pub with a giant Xmas Buffet. I got in trouble for eating one of four lobsters added just for display purposes - it was very nice though

My Mom made the best sweet potato casserole and squash casserole to serve with turkey or ham during the holidays.

@amadeo They are delicious! I always make a traditional turkey, too. One year, our son in New York City had Thanksgiving for us all. He has a courtyard off his kitchen and that's where all the guys made a fried turkey in my husband's fryer. Yes, we drove it into NY.![](/Content/images/emotes/lol.gif)

That looks nice. I enjoy any Filipino and Vietnamese food during the Holidays. Everytime my aunt comes home from NZ, she will cook delicious Filipino and Vietnamese viands for all of us. I rarely have Vietnamese food so I really enjoy it

There are many to mention.
For Christmas season, there should be the Ham and Queso de Bola. Of course the famous "lechon" or roasted pig is also something special. Then I also love Filipino delicacies like the "bibingka" or rice cake or "Biko" glutenous rice cake. "Pansit" (noodles) is also very common because it signifies long life according to some belief.
