Life started on earth due to galactic boom in space- Do you Agree?

According to Space.com researchers Life on Earth was initiated to due star boom in our milky way some 2.9 billion years ago!When new stars were getting born Cosmic-rays emanating from them disturbed algae and bacteria in earth oceans that started evolution of life first in the oceans then on land.
