Some Harry Potter history for Halloween reading.

A few years ago the author of the Harry Potter books JK Rowling designed and started a website called Pottermore which was to be a interactive website to learn more about the stories and become more immersed in the stories. I have been watching the movie series for the last couple of days as a way to celebrate Halloween. We do it every year, and I am now watching the last movie. During the first few scenes McGonagall appears and takes over the school from Snape. It got met thinking about her character. And I googled her name to see if there was any extra backstory about her that wasnt mentioned in the movies or books. The first result of the search, led me to her page on Pottermore and I learned quite a bit about the Tansfiguration teacher. I think it's so cool how Rowling has given all her characters such amazing backstories.
