I was sleepless yesterday because I was scared I won’t be able to wake up early enough to go early to the port. Luckily I managed to be one of the lucky 4 issued the last tickets for the 7:30 trip. Everything had been sold out since yesterday. Filipinos are so filial and really makes effort to visit cemeteries and reunite with relatives. So guys are you visiting the cemeteries today? Is it similar in your culture?

My department at work manages a historic cemetery, so I visit the cemetery often (for work purposes). But outside of work I don't often visit cemeteries.

Why is it historic? So in your beliefs once someone passed it’s over?

@flapiz It's historic because it's the oldest cemetery in our city.

Yes but you know how we have the mother and then the fathers side. My parents are from opposite ends of the province.

Do you celebrate it a different way or you don’t really have all saints and All Souls’ Day ?

None of the above as they are fully booked. I’m taking the fast cat but it’s not really fast.

@flapiz At least the Fast Cat is bigger as it also carries as many as 18 vehicles I think.

You don’t have All Saints and souls day? Do you have a similar celebration. Or do you think there’s no need cause people reincarnate?

Hello there. most Filipinos do this rather than the trick or treat. We take this time as a chance to be united with our love ones.
