Better known in Japan as the kuchisake-onna, she has been terrorizing children for centuries with her infamous question "Watashi kirei?" (do you think I'm pretty?) How you answer her will decide your fate

I would beg her pardon, and explain that I had to get medicine for my mother who wasn't feeling well. My understanding of her myth leads me to believe that she would allow me to leave. Of course, all gaijin might try "Nihongo ga wakarimasen" (I don't understand Japanese)

@Mavic123456 she doesn't seem to have that power, and as long as you are polite she seems to accept any alternate answer you give. I've also heard some suggest you ask her the same question...

Interesting horror story.... I am interested to know what the story behind the slit-mouth and why is she asking if she is pretty? What is the story behind that image. I do not know what to answer really since the face looks eerie already.

You can't answer hai or iie (yes or no) but you can give alternate answers to confuse or distract her...
