Amazon Prime To The Rescue!

Gotta love Amazon Prime! Mom totally surprised us by announcing that she and Dave were going to be in town on Sunday, and did we want to go to Sunset Villa for a big Danish breakfast. Can't say no to that! We were going to go tomorrow since Nov 2 is the anniversary of Morfar's (Danish for Mom's Dad) birthday. He'd have been 100 this year. Unfortunately, that would have involved about $60 in cab fare. Since they were going Sunday anyway, we decided we'll just go get a bottle of wine tomorrow, or something, and finish celebrating Morfar's birthday on Sunday. Also, the Danish Baker will be there Sunday, so the money we would have spent on transportation, we can save for bakery stuff. I need a big roll of Marzipan for Christmas treats I want to make. Anyway, Mom lives out of town, and this meant we would not see her on her birthday on the 17th, so I had to think fast. Where am I going to get a git in two days? Amazon Prime to the rescue! I already knew what I wanted, and it didn't matter that it was the end of the month and I was out of money, because I had gift cards. Yay!!! Perfect! I ordered her gift and a few groceries on Tuesday, and they arrived via courier about five minutes ago. Now i just have to wrap her present, and i'm ll ready for Sunday. Can't wait!

Good for you! I am debating on getting Prime. But I am afraid I will overspend on Amazon if I have it. I mean, I already do. Lol. Glad it worked out though!
