Tired of these curtains / myLot

These curtains do not seem to wear out. Nor has the colour faded but I am getting bored with them and am planning on getting a new set. Our windows (31 in all) have Venetian blinds - a real head ache as they collect dust and need to be dusted off frequently. Our doors leading to bedrooms and rest rooms have curtains and I am planning on getting them replaced just to break the monotony. I may also change the upholstery of our sofas. The old curtains will be donated.

I can understand . We too tend to change curtains after a point of time.

I have not done that in years They are also kind of wash and wear - have never deteriorated but I am bored.

I like changing curtains too and did it recently. Gave the room a whole new look. I agree about the blinds....I have them too and they are a pain to keep dusted.

I will even change the pelmets. They are of wood now but nowadays you get some stylish ones

It' also a.tedious chore for me to change the curtains . Aftet taking them all down, i would dust all the windows and window screens. After which, putting up the curtains and cleaning the rest of the bedroom. Sometimes, i always leave it for another weekend.

I only have curtain where I need them. I have removed those that led to our kitchen and store room - not necessary really
