Jealousy Is Not Pretty

In the recent times some users are getting rude and offensive. Thanks God only a few.

Well I am jealous of you. It is over 10 degrees warmer where you are than what I have. Try not to let it get too you. Many people get mad when they are not handed everything in life. You have earned what you have, enjoy it.

Is that people here, or people in real life? You seem to be one of the hardest working people I know. I would love to have the drive you have. Do I want your life? No, but I count on you as a resource to learn new stuff and for inspiration. Don't let people get you down cause they do not understand. That was part of the issue in my last job.

Jealousy, or maybe people who think that anyone who learned to work (instead of waiting to win the lottery or mooching off mom and dad) are stinking rich. Well, anyone who knows the value (and I don't mean that monetarily) or work knows otherwise. Just consider the source.

I have seen a few rude comments out there lately. I thin if you cannot say something nice or neutral just don't say it at all. Comments should never be made rudely to others, some do work hard for their money and should be congratulated. I think it should be admired.

It is sickening, I cant stand a jealous one. They are the most trouble causing envious people..really hate them

When we were younger, we had a rental property in the Beaches area in Toronto. After a few years, we sold it as it was so much time consuming and we had full time jobs. We also got tired of some of the renters that kept disturbing us late at night.

so sorry to hear this.I just ignored them go about my business. You do not owe them any explanation on this. Tell them to get bend.LOL

Oh that's too bad. It's true jealous is a green eyed monster for sure. I think people don't realize that because person "A" has $ or resources - doesn't effect their ability to have $ or resources. I cant figure it out either. I have had this issue and it always confuses me. I don't make a lot of money. I rent a small apartment. I don't have a boyfriend, I have a nice , but older car, and my clothes / look - well I have style and taste, though I budget carefully to be able to buy such things. Things I'm into (dance, band, painting, etc) are all things others can do too if they take time and effort..... I don't get it.

You do work hard Andria. And stay very busy. You should be proud and you know there will always be jealousy.

Don't always react in front of the person who hurts you or make fun of you. This is happening just because they are jealous of you. You do your work which satisfy you. Don't bother what other's think. Be positive on your work darling.

I have no doubt you are a hard worker. I would get tired just watching you work.

Aw...sorry...I am not jealous. I am quite content in my world...I hope nobody disturbs the present status..that is how I am. I know how hard it is to be landlady. While it is not as hard as it is at your end, there are other issues that I must constantly be on my toes for. You forgot sewer, power, water, roof leakage, and at your end insurances and insulation.

Users here should admire you. It is not easy to live the kind of life you live. You can tell whoever they are that hard work is enjoyable and rewarding too.

You are somebody with grit. That's how you make it. If you ever think I'm being mean mouthed to you, just yell back. Eventually I'll get it and shut up.

people are always jealous of the pretty ones. all haters know to do is hate. more people should have a landlord like you, someone who will take care of a problem s.a.p. ! ignore them, they just want to get you riled up. they are more into group think than individualism.

I know I might be off-topic. Yes, jealousy is ugly. That is why I never thought to cover my husbands’ eyes when it came to other women. So he ended up falling for the therapist I chose for him :D. And this is such a bitter laughter... Never thought I’d end up living in such a bad movie.
