The weekend is over.

As I was unwell I was home since Friday so I had a three day weekend.
Got the kitchen cleaned thoroughly and rearranged everything there. Got all my groceries for the week as I will be going to work from tomorrow. Will be having a holiday on Wednesday for Diwali so basically it will be a short working week. Just wish the holiday was on a Monday or Friday as then we would have a long weekend.
Need to think up some recipes for lunch for the week. I like waking up early morning and cooking my lunch rather than preparing it the previous night.
Wish you a happy week ahead.

You did all that work when you weren't feeling well? (I'm happy to know you're feeling better. )
You did more in a couple of days than most people do in a week! Do you have some secret for extra energy? Or is that normal for you?
Yeah, why can't the government(s) make holidays fall on Monday or Friday so we can always have time to do something fun or at least have more time to get into trouble? *grinning at you*
I hope you had a good Diwali celebration.
I'm often awake early in the morning, but that's usually because I still haven't gone to bed when everyone else is getting up. (I often spend all night talking on myLot instead of sleeping like I should. *shrug*)
If my daughter (Pretty) doesn't already have my lunch prepared then it is possible that I will cook something for both of us before I go to sleep.
I hope you have a quiet and peaceful week ahead.

@mayka123 Oh, yeah, I guess that is true.
Now, I might wash the dishes when I don't feel well, but the rest of the housework can darn well wait until I feel better before I will bother doing them!

Hi Nora, how are you doing? After a long time dear. We too had a couple of days holidays over here. Today is semi holiday here since most people have taken leave due to 'Bhaiya Duuj'. So, what did you cook for lunch? Do share and how is your poetry going?
Lots of love

Hi Mimpi, Hope to see you regularly here now. I had only one holiday for Diwali. Came home early today as most of my team mates were on leave. Have not been writing poetry for a long time now.
Since I had to take tiffin to office I made a pulao with pulses.
