Mildred the Cat - don't forget to vote this Tuesday!

United States
November 4, 2018 3:38pm CST
Hi everybody. It's Mildred the Cat. Long time no write. My mom asked me to post a reminder to all our mutual myLot friends, human, feline and canine, to get out and vote this coming Tuesday. Not mentioning any names, I will be voting for any candidate who is willing to legalize catnip and promises a rotisserie chicken in every household. My mom will be voting for anyone who is not a blankety-blank. From what I gather from her, the country, even the world, is full of blankety-blanks. I'm not sure what the problem with the blankety-blanks is except they appear to have issues with orange-haired men. I hope all you fellow myLotters are doing well. I remain delightful and cute as a button and my mom remains my mom, service provider and breadwinner. I have no complaints. Till next time, Purrs, paws and high fives. Image Pixabay.com

I sent in my ballot weeks ago since I am out of the country this week. I’m a blankety-blank and proud of it.

Good to hear from you. I have no issue with your blankety blank status if you're willing to help get catnip legalized.

If anyone has problems with orange haired men, they clearly are not paying attention. But I'd also vote for a cat having 10 lives instead of just nine, and let the dogs give up their one life so the cat's can have the 10th. Boy, that's socialism at its best is it not?

I like your thinking. I could sure accomplish a lot of great things with 10 lives!

You're right. This election is almost as important as the actual Presidential election in 2016.

It's an important day for your country, they vote here for a couple of things the 24th of November, but I am not Swiss, so I cannot vote.

I cannot vote but I can canvass. I will surely recommend whoever ensures you get your catnip.

I’ll vote for a cat. Put someone with some brains in office for a change. Purr and a saucer of milk for you!

Maybe I'll run for something next time. I ran for President back in 2016 but didn't get very far. My mom says I'm very smart so I'm covered in the brains category.

Ah, you say you have no complaints but it does make me wonder whether you've gotten better staying away from her wicker (was it?) on the porch and other furniture inside [meaning IDs your mom still complaining?] I've wondered where you got off to. I've not visited or checked lately but I did somewhere along the way this summer when I was stuck at home more. I understand the catnip and you can have all of what grows wild in my yard anytime but I'm scratching my head trying to figure out the chicken.

@LindaCPearson so Mildred do you and your mom fight over the same message or so you like one part and she is happy with the other? My girls both like white but my husband and me prefer the dark. I wish we could get it work only dark so we could have more than two small pieces. I do freeze the white for soups and such.

Dear Marsha - good to hear from you. For some unknown reason, we no longer have wicker furniture in our house. My mom has one special wicker chair but she, again for some unknown reason, keeps it covered. Regarding the rotisserie chicken thing - my mom buys one every week and we share it. It's my favorite treat. Hae a good day!
