As much as you can eat - how much do you eat?

Have you ever been to one of those eateries where you pay a fixed amount and are free to help yourself to as much as you want and keep coming back to refill your plate?
What do you normally do? Do you determine to get your money's worth and stuff yourself to bursting?
What really annoys me is when I see someone filling their plate - maybe the second or third time around - and leaving most if it uneaten. Surely the net result is not only wasted food but higher pieces for everyone else when the restaurant reckons it is throwing away its profits.

I might eat a bit more than usual but that would be all. I would be more inclined to take tiny amounts and try to sample everything I liked.

There is a buffet chain here called Golden Corral and I pretty much the same amount each time without going overboard. The main idea is a large selection to sample and pick and choose from.

I try to get my money's worth....but I can't eat too much before I am too full.

I too can't stand wasting food. We rarely eat out. We also get the person to pack any excess when we order anything. That is better than trying a whole lot, and then wasting it. My aunt on the other hand, tends to waste a whole lot. I hate going out with her.

I only get what I think I can consume and I usually eat little.
