The damba vestival is mostly celebrated by the people of Dagomba, Mamprugu, Gonja, Nanumba, all in the northern region of Ghana, west Africa.
It is almost left with 2 weeks for us to celebrate this festival for this year.
The most commonly cloth people wear in this festival is the smoke which is very large and heavy. But looks very nice and beautiful when you see people wear it and dancing. What is more interesting is that, in this festival the chives also wear the smoke cloth sitting on top of their horses and dancing and the local soldier men will be shooting gun powder shorts all over. Have you ever witness this festival before?
In-fact it is a very historic event one has to watch in life time
It is unfortunate that Ghana is too far from you people, if not i would have invite all of you to come and witness it this year.

That sounds a marvellous festival. What a shame Ghana is so far away. I hope you enjoy the festival yourself.

Seems very interesting. Don't they fill uneasy with those heavy and large clothes. What this festival refers to? Yes Ghana is far away from India.
