Poetry: Beauty Is...

Beauty is being real,
When everything that surrounds you is fake, or pretend.
Beauty is being pure, staying pure, thinking pure,
in a world full of darkness and temptations.
Beauty is living free in the moment,
not letting the past affect the future
Beauty is breaking down,
finding ones true self in a crowd full of imposters.
Beauty is on the inside, from the soul,
radiating outside.
Some only have outer beauty,
but are dark and cold hearted on the inside.
How can those people live a long and happy life,
unless they find some inner beauty,
some heart and soul.

"True beauty is reflected in one's soul—being truthful, honest, helpful, and trustworthy. Smiling at others even when you are having a bad day, complimenting someone and meaning it, spending time with family and friends, kindness, and most importantly being the best person that you can be."

A person can be beautiful on the outside but if they have an ugly attitude, if there mean or cruel they are ugly. Beauty should come from the inside out!
