What does Yoga word means?

Word Yoga is actually Yog. But here just for the ease I am going to use word Yoga. Yoga word derived from Sanskrit Language (Sanskrit language is considered to be the most ancient language in the world) word 'YUJ' (it should be pronounced as yuuj) which means 'to join', to unite or yoke. Here many thoughts are available in reference to this word where people interpret this word that Yoga is to Join your consciousness with super conscious. Some may consider this as Divine. Another believe says joining your Body, Mind and Soul.
