Mildred the Cat - my mom voted. Have you?

Hi everybody. It's Mildred the Cat. Happy Voting Day to all who qualify. My mom just voted and got her "My Vote Counted" sticker to prove it. It only took her five minutes, very short line, no problem and she was home in about 15 minutes, including the ride back and forth. She went about 9:30 am after the early voters and people on their way to work had come and gone. Smart decision. I did not vote. I would have had I been allowed. I'm an outstanding citizen, I live an orderly life, I help out when I can, I don't use or abuse, I have no outstanding debts or violations, I have plenty of photo IDs, and I think excluding me from the voting booth is both unfair and unwise. Anyhoo, I hope you all get to vote if you want to and I hope my mom's choices win. It will make things around here a lot more pleasant if they do. Have a great day, everybody. Don't forget to hug your pets and give them some treats. As usual, I will be getting my rotisserie chicken treats after lunch and after dinner. Life is good. Sorry about the sideways photo. My mom doesn't know how to rightways it. Till next time, purrs, paws and high fives. Your friend, Mildred the Cat. Photo: Mine

Just like you, I did not vote, but there was nothing to vote for today in my country. Good luck for the result.

It was a quick easy process for me, even parking wasn't a problem.

Why are you not allowed to vote? I am still waiting for my son to pick me up to go to the polls.

For some reason, in my state, only humans are allowed to vote. i don't think that's fair.

@LindaCPearson Don't feel bad. We also had elections here for Mayor and will have vote between two candidates that were on top that did not get enough votes to win. My cat even though she is a resident of Jerusalem she also cannot vote. We do not get stickers. I vote close to home so walk over there and walk home afterwards. I do not get a sticker but feel good that I voted or vote.
